Don’t burn your Crop Waste

It is reported again, and in fact every year, that Delhi is suffering from the worst air pollution year by year.

It is due at this time of year that the crop wastes are burnt in Northern India. There is little or no wind and the pollution from Diesel and car engines mix with this smoke and hang in the city. Schools are closed and the cases of respiratory problems goes up.

Delhi is waiting for a ban to come into force to prevent Diesel vehicles going into Central Delhi – except those with essential goods. Unfortunately most diesel vehicles are carrying essential goods. So inner city life will become more difficult.

SO DON’T BURN YOUR CROP WASTE

If India started to do some organic production they wouldn’t need to burn any crop waste.

I went to India around this time of year in 2018 to address this very problem.
