At 16 minutes 20 seconds into this presentation Janine Benyus talks about separation technologies and the cessation of mining.

This then brings us to the subject of recycling which is separation technology. The efficient recycling of effluent can give us phosphorus and potassium, which then avoids the need for mining them.  The phosphorus mines of the world will be seriously depleted by 2030 and the cost of phosphorus will soar. You cannot grow food without phosphorus. This will put the cost of food out of reach of many, indeed this trend is already becoming apparent.

Our HH-2 equipment is an affordable efficient tool for this separation technology. See our products page.
