BBC Farming Today January 15th, 2024

Wet summer last year means lost harvests of Swede and Potatoes that have been under water for 2 days.

Also 11,000 acres of Brassicas were lost in Lincolnshire and another 1,000 acres in Cornwall affecting cabbages, Cauliflower, Leeks and Sprouts and up to 20% of crops were lost with machinery trying to travel through the wet fields.
