Why is the UK and EU exporting banned chemicals to Paraguay BBC FOOD CHAIN

BBC Broadcast of 30.11.23 stated  that food production is not possible without the use of pesticides in certain Countries and that the UK and the EU are exporting these harmful chemicals into Paraguay.

THIS STATEMENT IS UNTRUE  and the BBC Food chain should not have put this out. It is through their lack of research that they have made this statement.

Paraquat is used in huge quantities in Paraguay’s farming industry, mostly imported from China and Brazil – although, Brazil imports the agrochemical from Syngenta’s UK factory, according to the Unearthed and Public Eye investigations. 16 Oct, 2020

We, at the NGO Good Gardeners International, have been saying this for 30 years. A one hundred metre gap is suggested between spraying these herbicides and human habitation is required…what does that tell you?  People are dying from their use in Paraguay…

There will be mass starvation as I have said before because there is no advice given  of how to farm without these deadly chemicals.
Now after this broadcast this is even more imminent.
Soya plantations are  the ones using toxic agro-chemicals  which has contaminated water sources. Pesticides that are banned in China and other Countries are  being exported to certain other Countries. Glyphosate and Paraquat that are banned in EU and China. Two hundred tons of  diquat dibromide banned in the UK was exported to Paraguay.  What is going on?
This is shameful, immoral and probably illegal.
Does this mean Soya Milk could be harmful to health?
Why is cancer on the rise in the UK…FACT.

What kind of Government would do this.?  Is it not illegal illegal to sell banned  pesticides?

There are serious effects of these pesticides found to be having on bio diversity and thousands of tons are exported into Paraguay from the EU  and China. Bees are found to be dying.

Again, we address the British Government, this is disgraceful, immoral and probably illegal.

We are one of the main researchers into  the complete way to grow without any chemicals at all in any Country.

  1. I think agro chemicals need to be banned from.export. Banned in their own countries. Killing bees. Harming the most vulnerable. Poisons are poisons. Go organic.

  2. What’s Happening i am new to this, I stumbled upon this I have found It positively useful and it has helped me out loads. I hope to contribute & help other users like its helped me. Good job.
